‘I was referred to ocean dental by my dentist for dental implants. I have never liked going to the dentist but was made to feel very at ease and happy. ‘As a result of a large gap I had a bite that only met uncomfortably at the front incisor. The options, pros and cons were well explained by Don and I decided to have two onlays and a dental implant. I hate anything remotely medical but all my experiences so far at ocean dental have been positive. The local anaesthetics have been effective and well administered with no pain in any procedure. The procedure went well and I went home, waiting for the pain and swelling to strike. It never did! This is not the “done in a day” thing some other places advertise. Don waited for the implant to fully bond in the bone. He then measured and fitted the implant, only when this was done did he do the onlays, to ensure perfect alignment. The result was a restored precision set of teeth that feel totally natural, and a corrected bite which is comfortable again. Costed over the actuarial remainder of my life, I feel it is value for money. My grandfather said to never skimp on teeth or tyres. I think he was right. So pleased am I with my implant, I am thinking of leaving to someone in my will! My only regret is that there are a couple of overfilled dodgy molars in the top jaw looking down enviously.’ Mr. I.C.
